Gas

You have a gas line without an earthquake shut off valve installed.

Maybe you’re selling a house or maybe you’re just a smart property owner.

Either way, an earthquake gas shut off valve is necessary to prevent dangerous gas leaks in the event of an earthquake.

Not having an earthquake shut off valve as part of your gas system is very risky and it’s actually required to have one by the California State Law.

Many remember the destruction of the Northridge Earthquake in 1994. We sure remember it. We were busy helping all our neighbors in the San Fernando Valley with gas leaks.

Don’t let an earthquake catch you without an earthquake shut-off valve installed on your gas line. Please give us a call at 818-885-8222.

How to make sure you get an earthquake shut off valve installed correctly.

  • Ask if they’re licensed in California.

You don’t want someone unlicensed touching your gas system. When it comes to installing earthquake gas shut off valves you want to make sure they have a valid license in California. (For example, our CA License C-36 #549658 is displayed to the left.)
  • This makes sure the installation is done correctly and to Code Standards
  • Ask if they guarantee the quality of the work. Someone with experience that knows what they’re doing will be able to answer any questions and install the correct valve.
