Hello, my name is David Lawrence Whyte, aka The Pipe Doctor and ThePipeDoc, President and CFO of Whyte Plumbing, Inc. I am a Master Plumber with over 30 years of experience in all aspects of plumbing. I would like to thank you for visiting my company's website. Whyte Plumbing, Inc is built upon my 30+ years of plumbing experience; here is my company's story.

In the summer of 1979 I was first exposed to plumbing when I worked for a Beverly Hills plumbing company. The majority of their clients were commercial apartment buildings and local businesses.

I worked with various companies while attending Pierce College until 1984 when I earned my first Plumbing License on October 29, 1984 from the California State License Board, C-36 No.464698; the original dba of Whyte's Plumbing was soon thereafter filed.

I worked very hard for clients living throughout the greater Los Angeles area and they soon learned and came to respect how much I truly care about each and every job; they responded by transforming into very loyal clients.

In 1986, Interserv, an investment management corporation based in Los Angeles, awarded Whyte Plumbing, Inc. the exclusive plumbing contract for a complete retrofit; including waste, vent, gas and water systems, on one of their downtown apartment buildings; the Frostonyia Apartments located at the corner of the 101 Freeway and N. Vermont St., right next door to the Denny's restaurant. Me and a new fifteen man crew completed the 6 story, 84 Unit, $180,000 job in record time, astounding the management company. Soon thereafter the word about Whyte Plumbing, Inc.'s knowledge and integrity spread across the county.

Now, between my very quickly increasing loyal residential customer base and my new commercial clientele, I saw it was time to hire a complete full time crew of journeymen and purchase another commercial vehicle.

In 1988 the Whyte's Plumbing client list was in the hundreds and it was time to incorporate into Whyte Plumbing, Inc. I received a second California State License Board C-36 Plumbing License No. 549658 for the new company and we have been growing ever since.
